Inspiring Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles

By Tara Lee, Founding Board Member of the Charity “Inspiring Wellness & Healthy Lifestyles”

Participating in a collective effort to make the world a better place is a way to augment the talents you have and weave them together with others, allowing you to be part of something supportive, impactful and encouraging. This is a foundational value embedded in the backbone of “Inspiring Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles” and something I see shining through the creation of the “Camden Wellness Expo” too.

Working with other people increases the impact we have on our world. When we choose to do something constantly in isolation we miss the true point of service--helping others by being able to form a more close-knit whole-hearted community. The mere act of working in a group prepares us for both the joys and the trials we face when interacting with others. We may find dis-comfort that propels us to grow. We step in to practice what we teach and preach as wellness advocates of change. It strengthens our ability to see beyond ourselves and to change and compromise on various issues, which allows us to give our talents more fully to other people. Through co creative collaborative efforts we gain a more complete perspective on how the world works and of the value of your place in it.

Being willing to collaborate with others can broaden our perspective and open our minds to new possibilities. Group dynamics can be challenging because each person has their own ideas and preferences for what they want or think, which is also projected from their own lens of perception. Though, it is possible to take everyone's desires and ideas into account and work together in a way that generates harmony. When working together, we discover that there is more than one way to meet our different intentions and objectives. Our own personal awareness expands by being exposed to other people's ideas, we become transformed as we throw our ideas into the creative cauldron already filled with other people's ideas.

The ideal of “collaboration” is being called to be put into action now more than ever on our planet. Our personal development and self healing now called to be less me, and more “we”.

When we mix together our skills and experience we stand together to unify wellness and broaden its vast spectrum we all innately know to believe.

May we be willing to stretch ourselves to collaborate with others, together we will GROW. Where can you can take the lead on making your partnerships and group activities beneficial for everyone?
